NFL: The Cardinals have a new GM

The Arizona Cardinals have signed Monti Ossenfort as general manager.

The NFL club announced this on Monday.

The 45-year-old has served as director of player staff for the Tennessee Titans for the past two seasons. He has also held several staff positions with the Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans and New England Patriots. He has worked at Goodell circuit since the 2001 campaign.

On the “Cards” Ossenfort takes over Steve Keim, who resigned on January 9th. He also left the team in December for health reasons.

The Arizona organization also recently showed head coach Kliff Kingsbury the way out. The Cardinals went 4-13 and finished bottom in the National’s West Division in 2022. They missed the playoffs three times in four seasons under their last Pilot.
