The 53-year-old has been in charge of offense for the Kansas City Chiefs since the 2018 season after joining the Missouri team as a running backs coach in 2013.

He won the Super Bowl twice with the Chiefs, including the one played last week.

Bieniemy worked as a running back in the NFL from 1991 to 1999. He played for the San Diego Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles.

He then made the leap behind the bench at the University of Colorado Buffaloes. He also coached the UCLA Bruins before returning to the NFL as the running backs coach for the Minnesota Vikings.
