The couple exchanged their vows in the presence of their respective family members and close friends. Along with all the warm wishes, the newlywed couple also received high-priced gifts from family members, friends and relatives.
Suniel Shetty has reportedly gifted his daughter a luxury apartment in Mumbai worth Rs 50 million. Salman Khan, a close friend of Suniel Shetty, has given Athiya an Audi worth Rs 1.64 crore.
Jackie Shroff, who is also a close friend of Suniel Shetty, has given Athiya a watch worth Rs 30 lakh from Chopard Watches, a renowned Swiss luxury watch and jewelry brand. Arjun Kapoor, one of Athiya’s close friends, has given her a diamond bracelet worth Rs 1.5 crore.
On the other hand, KL Rahul’s friend and former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has gifted him a BMW car worth Rs 2.17 crore. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has also gifted Rahul a Kawasaki Ninja bike worth Rs 80 lakh.
Athiya and KL Rahul will now host a grand reception for their industry friends and colleagues in Mumbai. Suniel Shetty had informed the media that the wedding reception will take place after IPL.
