It’s not the first time! New footage of Molly Meldrum floating on stage at ChillOut Festival has emerged after showing his bare buttocks to the crowd at Elton John’s farewell concert in Melbourne

A video of Molly Meldrum berating the crowd on stage at last year’s ChillOut festival has surfaced just days after he bared his bare bottom at Elton John’s gig.

In footage obtained by news.com.au, the 79-year-old television legend got up from a chair on stage and pulled down his pants.

He then turned to face the crowd and exposed his bare rear end before slapping his buttocks.

The incident happened 10 months before Meldrum bared his buttocks to the crowd at Elton John’s farewell concert in Melbourne on Friday.

The legendary Australian music critic watched his old friend Sir Elton in the crowd at AAMI Park for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour before being taken on stage.

Of the Countdown Compere, the I’m Still Standing hitmaker said, “He’s quite honestly a national treasure.”

“I want to thank him for all the love and loyalty he has shown me over the years. I love you’.

Meldrum then joined Elton onstage for a performance of The B**** Is Back, where he exposed his bare bottom to the crowd.

Meldrum has since insisted he did not intentionally lower his pants to snub the crowd, blaming a faulty belt buckle.

“Some people thought it was part of the show. It was not. Elton had no idea I was going to jump on stage, nor did promoter Michael Chugg, who is also a dear friend of mine,” he told the Herald Sun.

“I shouldn’t have crashed Elton’s show. As for my performance, which was more revealing than it should have been…well, early in the night my belt buckle broke and my pants were already falling off. And on stage, one thing led to another.”

“I just hope my antics don’t distract from a truly spectacular show and Elton’s fabulous farewell. It’s nobody’s fault but me.’
