New confidential documents have been discovered in the home of Joe Biden

They date from the time when Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States, according to the White House. These will be added to others including some “Top Secret”.

Five more pages of confidential documents were found in a room next to the garage of US President Joe Biden’s family home in Wilmington, Delaware, the White House said on Saturday.

These documents, which come from Joe Biden’s vice presidency, were found after the arrival at the scene Thursday night of presidency attorney Richard Sauber, the latter specified in a press release. They are added to other files found at the private residence, the existence of which the White House revealed Thursday, as well as other confidential documents discovered at a Washington office last November.

Indeed, on Monday night, a CBS channel report revealed that Biden had also kept classified documents dating back to when he was Obama’s vice president. These documents were found in Washington on November 2, 2022, a few days before the midterm elections, at the offices of his political think tank Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. They would then have been discreetly handed over to the National Archives and their discovery kept confidential.

The White House initially declined to comment on this CBS revelation. Then a Biden aide admitted that a “small number of classified documents” had indeed been discovered by Biden’s personal attorneys at the center’s offices on the floor of a closet and turned over to the national archives.

“Top Secret” intelligence reports

On Wednesday, NBC News reported that the president’s legal team had uncovered a new batch of documents, this time at Biden’s private home in Wilmington, Delaware. Some of the documents were in the library. Others were stored in the garage that houses the President’s Chevrolet Corvette convertible.

The Biden’s second home in the resort town of Rehobot Beach was also searched, but no other documents were found. The first batch would have contained 10 classified documents, including US intelligence reports and briefing notes on Ukraine, Iran and the UK. Some have been classified as Top Secret, the highest level.
