Netflix unveiled its slate of new feature films for 2023 on Wednesday. The platform will add 49 titles to its catalogue.

One of the most anticipated films of the next few months is The Killer, a drama directed by David Fincher and starring Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton (November 10). Dev Patel’s directorial debut, Monkey Man; Master; Bradley Cooper’s film about Leonard Bernstein; and Rustin, a biopic directed by George C. Wolfe about Martin Luther King, Jr.’s strategist and close advisor, Bayard Rustin, who started the 1963 March on Washington civil rights movement that he helped build. Colman Domingo and Chris Rock are part of the cast.

Talented filmmaker Wes Anderson will bring short stories by writer Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) to the screen. His film is yet to be titled and will star Benedict Cumberbatch, Dev Patel and Ralph Fiennes. Leave the World Behind, a thriller starring Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke and Mahershala Ali, will be available on the platform on December 8th. A month earlier, a new comedy starring Nicole Kidman, Joey King and Zac Efron called A Family Affair is slated for November.

Zack Snyder’s action film Rebel Moon will be Netflix’s big holiday novelty in 2023. It’s scheduled to premiere on December 22nd.

Netflix’s feature film slate has shrunk since 2022, when 86 films were announced. A trailer showing Netflix’s 2023 schedule with unforgettable dates is available to watch.
