Airplanes aren’t exactly what spring to mind when you think of Netflix, but the streaming giant has an aviation division and is looking to grow.

If you have “a passion for aviation and a desire to work on a dream crew,” the role as Netflix’s newest flight attendant could be for you.

According to the job posting, the position is located in San Jose, California and requires applicants to have a flexible schedule with a willingness to work holidays, weekends and extended travel, both domestic and international.

“As a Netflix flight attendant, you will be expected to embrace our culture,” which Netflix says has “a strong emphasis on working with freedom and responsibility, with independence and plenty of self-motivation,” the post reads.

But it’s the pay scale that might turn heads, as Netflix writes that the “total market range” for the position is $60,000 to $385,000 — a different range that the company says is based on “total pay rather than just base salary.” “ based.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Outlook Handbook, the median wage for a flight attendant in 2021 was $61,640 per year, potentially putting Netflix’s reach well above the national average.
