Netflix analyzes whether “Wandinha” actor will continue in the series after allegations

After serious allegations against the actor were leaked Percy Hynes Whitethe Xavier Thorpe in the series “Wandinha‘ by Netflix, the directors of the platform are analyzing whether the character will continue or be cut in the second season. The actor’s troubles began as a Twitter user [@milkievich] published a topic recounting the times when the actor abused other teenagers and minors.

The person recounted several incidents involving Hynes since he was in a high school in Toronto, Canada, which appear to be under investigation.

After Milkievich’s allegations that the actor and his friends invited pretty girls to his parties in order to abuse them up until a year ago, others involved began to share their own experiences.

“They specifically invited women they thought were hot so they could get drunk and have sex with them,” Milkievich began.

Another user [@desireecameron] also commented, “He had me raped in his basement and when he called me about it he was more worried about the police than I was fine,” she explained.

“He also calls so many girls fat, bitches, whores, jerks, ugly, liars every time they reject him,” she assured.

The case is currently under investigation, but the actor has disabled comments on his social networks due to the allegations.

“Wandinha”the Netflix series with jenna ortega, continues to dominate Netflix’s list of the top 10 shows on the platform for the 6th straight week. In the list, which runs from December 26 to January 1, Wandinha registered 103.96 million additional hours of viewing, and over the past six weeks, more than 100 million hours of a program have been watched in English, another record for Netflix sets up!

The streaming service, which just announced the show’s second season, said “Wandinha” clocked in 1.2 billion hours of views in its first 28 days, now hitting 1.5 billion total since it premiered in November with the new data.

The series came close to breaking the record set by Korean series Round 6, which racked up 1.65 billion hours of views.

Netflix isn’t yet announcing the premiere date for season two, but to the sadness of Jenna Ortega fans, it’s possible it won’t happen until 2024. They also didn’t reveal which characters are returning for the second part.

Jenna took to her Instagram Stories to thank her fans for the new success and credited them for making Season 2 possible:

“Thank you to each and every one of you who watched and made the new season possible. That was very surreal.”

One of the things that Jenna Ortega and the director Tim Burton created together and opted for their interpretation of “Wandinha‘ in the Netflix series, it was a trait of the character: they both decided that Wandinha shouldn’t blink in the scenes to reinforce her ‘scary nature’. Here’s how Jenna Ortega avoided blinking during her performance.

While there are some moments when Ortega winks on the show, those moments are “few and scattered,” according to Netflix.

But when did that start? According to Jenna, sometime during the first few weeks of filming:

“I did one shot where I didn’t even blink,” Ortega recalls. “And Tim said, ‘I don’t want you to blink anymore,'” the actress said.

When Tim Burton decided that the character shouldn’t blink, Jenna Ortega really committed, which made the few times she closed her eyes seem even more powerful.

According to the 20yearold star, “The problem with blinking is that she didn’t realize she was doing it.”

“It happened because every time we started recording, I reset my face. I flexed every muscle in my face and Tim really liked the Kubrick look where I look through my brows. It’s just a little bit intimidating … Obviously it touched him,” she said, “and I trust his opinion a lot because he’s Tim Burton.”

But fans of the number 1 Netflix series have already rushed to “warn” which episodes Wandinha Addams can be caught closing her eyes in:

1) During the car ride to Nevermore College with parents Morticia and Gomez in episode 1 entitled “Wednesday’s Child Is Full of Woe”;
2) During his confrontation with Bianca at Rave’N in Episode 4, “What a Night”; and
3) When she hugs Enid in the Season 1 finale, “A Murder of Woes”.

Although Wandinha doesn’t blink regularly, this habit seems to mark moments when she feels uncomfortable or shocked.
