Bryn Forbes, an NBA free agent, left his fiancée Elsa Jean with two black eyes, a source exclusively revealed to after the police report said she was allegedly beaten multiple times.
Forbes, who was released by the Minnesota Timberwolves last week, was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning on suspicion of assault, a misdemeanor after a verbal argument with Jean, a former renowned porn actress, turned physical.
“It was the first time he abused her but once was enough,” a source close to the 26-year-old told exclusively. “Her whole body is bruised and she has two black eyes. He hit her so many times and it was so terrible for her.
The February 15 police report said Jean was “allegedly beaten several times, causing injury and pain” and required medical attention.
Forbes, who was fired by the Minnesota Timberwolves after last week’s NBA trade deadline, was reportedly due to trade in a week but has “royally screwed up his career” with that deal, which is now “off the table,” a source revealed.

The 29-year-old father of two reportedly felt threatened by Jean’s success after her Only Fans account went offline and the launch of her podcast Heartbreakers, which she co-hosts with boyfriend and manager James Maas.
“Elsa stopped doing porn before meeting him and has become incredibly successful on her own during their relationship,” the source said.
“She is a top Only Fans YouTuber and recently started her own Heartbreakers podcast. She launches her own clothing line. Bryn felt threatened by her success and wanted to be the only successful one in their relationship.’
Jean and Forbes were engaged and had been living together for a year when the incident happened on Valentine’s Day, the source confirmed.
Following the altercation, Jean “broke off the engagement” but isn’t sure if she’ll press charges.
“She’s just so upset and she’s shocked that someone she loved so much did this to her,” the source told . “She’s done with him and she’s not sure if she’s going to press charges or not. Right now she’s focused on healing and getting through this one day at a time.
“Elsa really hopes he gets the help he needs and will be picking up her stuff tomorrow.”
Forbes was arrested at 5 a.m. Wednesday at an apartment building in north San Antonio. He was taken to the Bexar County Jail and released on $2,500 bail with arraignment scheduled for March 20.

Jean is a top Only Fans creator, and the free agent reportedly felt “threatened by her success.”

The San Antonio Fire Department and EMS responded to help Jean.
The case is under further investigation, according to San Antonio police.
Forbes played seven seasons in the NBA after going undrafted in 2016. Before the NBA, he played for Cleveland State and Michigan State.
Forbes signed as a free agent and played his first four seasons with the San Antonio Spurs. He joined the Milwaukee Bucks as a free agent in 2021 but returned to the Spurs just a year later before being traded to the Denver Nuggets mid-season.
Forbes signed with Minnesota in July, but the Timberwolves relinquished him last week to free up a roster spot after acquiring Mike Conley Jr. and Nickeil Alexander-Walker in a trade that sent D’Angelo Russell to the Los Angeles Lakers.
