People may even think they rule their home, but the truth is, pets have the final say, as evidenced by the golden retriever named Chandler, who lives in Thief River Falls, Minnesota (USA).
In a video posted to TikTok on Jan. 5 by Chandler’s owner, Sydney Paige, Chandler literally shows who’s boss.
Full of power and aplomb the Golden Retriever climbs onto the sofa, which is full of clean clothes ready to be folded and put away, and starts tossing everything on the floor, making room for him to lie down, of course.
After Chandler has shed most of his clothing and made enough room to lie down and gnaw his bones in peace, Chandler shows not the slightest resentment or guilt for doing what he did. Finally, it’s time to fold up and put away all those clothes, right Miss Sydney?
Luckily, this hilarious moment was filmed and shared by Chandler’s owner, much to our delight.
Of course, the click was very successful among netizens, as evidenced by the fact that in just a few days the video received more than 8 million views, 1 million likes and around 5,000 comments.

Of course, a lot of people supported the Golden Retriever because clothes belong in the closet and not scattered around the room, right? Chandler only made a point of “reminding” the owner that they needed to be guarded. (I believe).
However, the dog’s spontaneity and complete indifference to the situation won over netizens, who did not shy away from comments and support for his initiative, somewhat daring but still cute and funny.
One user scoffed at possible criticism of Chandler towards the owner as he threw the clothes on the floor: “This pile of clothes has been sitting here for 3 goddamn days. Put them together”.
Another netizen was ironic, too, saying, “Well, they won’t bend on their own… pick them up while I chew that bone.”
Another person even identified with the image of the pile of clothes thrown on the sofa. “Me at night after putting clothes on the bed thinking they would fold on their own.” Who never, right?
