(ANSA) – BRUSSELS, JANUARY 19 – “The strategic goals of the Russians have not changed, and therefore it is likely that in the spring they will launch a new offensive: for this the Ukrainians, as well as the allies, need to prepare and study, what the needs are more likely than Kyiv and how you can support the country”. This was stated by the President of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, at the end of the Chiefs of Staff Summit. “Tanks are an important means of recapturing the occupied territories in particular and since the Russians are also using them, the Ukrainians should be able to respond accordingly,” he added.
