The Game of Thrones star wiped away tears as she explained: “There’s a lot of how, joy and, how, celebration involved, but also all this pressure and stuff, trauma and all these things that I have to do with that had to overcome, you know?’
The British-born actress said it’s the first time in her life that she can make a choice about how she wears her hair.
“I think I liked asking my mom when I was about 15, and then I went into acting and the job dictated what my hair did. So this is the first time I’ve had something like this in 33 years… I’ve made a decision about my hair that’s entirely my own.
