A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision at Rawdon in Lanaudière on Wednesday evening.

The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. when the motorcyclist, a young man in his 20s, collided head-on with a car turning left on Route 125 near Chemin Vincent-Massé, summarized Stéphane Tremblay, spokesman for the Surete du Quebec.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was in critical condition by the evening.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was in nervous shock.
