“Europe urgently needs to wake up from its lethargic slumber” because the US is “dragging it into a big war”. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova, commenting on her Telegram channel the interview with La Stampa in which Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani complained that “Europe does not have a real foreign policy, nor does it have a defense policy”. and comes “always after the Americans”. Tajani added that in order to help Kyiv it was necessary to “continue to search for ways to peace”.
“We must do everything,” said Tajani, “so that the conflict never escalates. Neither NATO nor Europe, which must help Ukraine, are at war with Russia.”
“Don’t they understand – writes the Russian spokesman – that the United States is dragging Europe into a major war? For what? Because Washington has had no other resources for some time to back up the dollar and support the growth of the American economy.
“Europe – Maria Zakharova continues – urgently needs to wake up from its lethargic sleep and finally remember that it was the USA that benefited from the two previous world wars unleashed by Western countries. While the whole world lay in ruins, Washington built the Pax Americana on the ashes. Isn’t it a good idea not to shoot yourself in the foot for the third time?
