More than a hundred Mexican artists bring the emblematic Frida Kahlo to France in 115 works from her brush for an exhibition on rue Chapon entitled 2100 Fridas for Frida.

The exhibition is held in homage to the 115th anniversary of the birth of the most sublime, repeated and revered Mexican artist whose life and work not only traverses time as if she were still in her big blue house, but also in the Popularity multiplies imagination and national artistic expressions.

The exhibition will open on September 1st in a private gallery on rue Chapon and then return to Mexico, where the location where it will be installed has not yet been announced.

The emblematic district of Le Marais, in the so-called “City of Light”, will receive the exhibition at the above address, organized by the same sponsors who realized last year mosaics dedicated to Dante, exhibited with great success at the convent of Sor Juana in Mexico, Ravenna Italy and Madrid, Spain.

In it, 140 artists were given the opportunity to show their works, exhibiting 700 paintings as part of the official international program marking the 700th anniversary of the death of the Italian genius.

This year, on the occasion of the worldwide events to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the most internationally recognized Mexican artist, the exhibition is organized with pieces created especially for the occasion and with the participation of artists from all over the country, also promoted by several national activists and cultural organizations in Mexico.
