As expected, the match between the celebrity teams of the NBA AllStar Game 2023 was a huge party. What the participants lacked in technical quality, they made up for in animation and fun. Brazilian representative Marcos Mion did not fare badly. The presenter of “Caldeirão”, who had been preparing for the match since January, played a few minutes and tried to help both in attack and in defence. He failed to hit the baskets but still seemed to be having a lot of fun on the pitch.

Mion had a chance to consecrate before the game even started. Four players from each team would take two shots out of three. Whoever threw the most baskets started four points ahead. However, the rudeness outweighed it. There were eight tries and only one basket on each side. Then Mion should be first in the switch attacks. The presenter’s throw hit the hoop. In the first quarter Mion started on the bench but when he came in he helped in the team’s defense which turned the game while he was on the court. Mion played little in the second quarter, got a rebound and made a nice back pass, but didn’t convert it. In the third, the Brazilian presenter played at the end of the stage, had a good chance but tried to dribble and missed. Mion didn’t leave the bench in the last quarter.
Mion’s team, led by Ryan Smith, lost the game 8178 to Dwyane Wade’s team. Wade’s team includes: Kane Brown (fivetime American Music Award winner), Nicky Jam (actor and global icon of Latin music), Jesser (content creator), Simu Liu (actor), Janelle Monáe (actress, singersongwriter) , Arike Ogunbowale (WNBA AllStar), Albert Pujols (MLB player), 21 Savage (rapper), Ranveer Singh (actor and NBA Ambassador to India), Frances Tiafoe (tennis player) and Alex Toussaint (Puma athlete and peloton Trainer).
Mio’s team came to celebrate an epic win. On the last shot, The Miz risked a basket behind the center of the court that would be worth four points. The ball went straight into the basket, the whole team celebrated wildly, but the time was up and the shot didn’t count.
