Megan Fox has defended Machine Gun Kelly guitarist Sophie Lloyd after finding herself in the midst of their recent relationship drama.
The Transformers star, 36, returned to Instagram and left a lengthy comment on 27-year-old Sophie’s latest album art post, which was shared on Saturday after fans speculated she had a role in her alleged split from MGK, 32, might have played.
“How I made a joke to absolve this girl of a hurtful allegation kind of became an endorsement of it — I’ll never understand.” Why are people so… so stupid. Sophie you are amazingly talented,” she wrote.
“Welcome to Hollywood. Your first unjustified PR disaster. You were baptized by the flames of glory. Unfortunately, it only gets worse from here. Just ignore it as best you can (heart emoji). Middle finger up,” she added.
Sophie replied: “The internet is so wild! Sending so much love @meganfox.’

It comes after Fox insisted there was absolutely no cheating after fiancé Machine Gun Kelly speculated he had been unfaithful in their relationship.
Fox, who has been in the headlines lately with Kelly after hinting at a split last week, set the record in a statement posted to her Instagram account on Sunday.
“There was no third party interference in this relationship. That includes but isn’t limited to… real humans, DMs, AI bots, or succubus demons,” posted Fox, who returned to Instagram after her account was deactivated last week.
“While I hate stopping you from posting random unsubstantiated messages that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you must let this story die and leave all these innocent people alone now.”
This comes after a report by Page Six claimed Fox found direct messages and text messages on MGK’s phone, leading them to believe he was having an affair.
Fans also speculated that Kelly’s guitarist Sophie played a role in their split, and Megan pulled her name into the mix after a fan wondered if MGK had hooked up with her.
“He’s probably dating Sophie,” someone commented on Instagram. “Maybe I’m dating Sophie,” Megan replied, along with a flame emoji.
After speculation grew about her and MGK, Lloyd slammed the rumors as “baseless” and “disrespectful” in a statement.

Clarifying things: “There was no third party interference whatsoever in this relationship,” she wrote in a statement
“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been unnecessarily dragged into the media due to unfounded allegations on social media,” the statement shared with Page Six began.
“Any suggestion that she has ever acted unprofessionally or pulled out of their relationship is false. It is disrespectful to her as an artist and bad journalism and social commentary to report on anything else.”
Reports, meanwhile, differ on whether or not Fox and Kelly have split. A Page Six insider said: “They are separated but Megan sees where they stand. She wants to see what they can salvage.”
The insider added that Machine Gun Kelly “really wants to reconcile.”
