Max Pezzali, the inevitable end. No doubt at the end of the story

Max Pezzali is this time really over, according to his words you can not think otherwise: That happened.

The 90’s generation remembers many things from that decade with a certain nostalgiaone of them is certainly the music of Max Pezzali, whose songs have accompanied an entire generation and are still sung out loud and by heart by all of us today.

That’s because we’ve all experienced at least once the situations Pezzali narrates in his songs: The Friend’s Rule, How Come, The Years, You Are a Myth, Here You Are, A Love Song and many others. And as if the ’90s weren’t enough, 2005 saw the release of The Strange Path, which essentially contained his love story at the time, a story that famously ended a few years ago and inspired one of his latest albums.

Since Pezzali has actually always very often related human situations with his lyrics and is often linked to love and friendship, the songs are “light” but his lyrics are very profound and it is impossible not to find yourself in at least one of these songs. Each of us has our favorites and today’s generations know Pezzali’s lyrics just as we did in the 90s because Max Pezzali was able to reinvent himself again and again.

The 883 Group, which he founded in 1991 with his friend Mauro Repetto, is a nineties brand and when Pezzali continued here as a soloist since 2004, he was back on the crest of the wave, because whoever loved the 883 could not help but follow him also by itself.

Traveling is a recurring theme in Pezzali’s writing, a theme close to his heart and about which he has spoken in interviews: “For me, on the other hand, what counts is the journey, not the destination to be reached, but the journey itself, the fact the street, the company, enjoying every single perfume. “Time Out” means exactly that: Let’s take a break and enjoy the journey regardless of the destination”. This is one of his last statements on one of the last plays.

Like many artists of his generation, Pezzali was a friend of Claudio Cecchetto, who discovered so many talents during this period. But the relationship between the two seems to have broken down. Here’s what happened.

Claudio Cecchetto and Max Pezzali the end of a friendship

After decades since the beginning of their friendship and artistic partnership, Max Pezzali and Claudio Cecchetto’s relationship seems to be forever broken, but what are the reasons?

Pezzali producer Pier Paolo Peroni explained: “Explain what happened? I can’t do that for legal reasons, I’m sorry.”

It appears that the rupture stems from economic issues that no one wanted to comment on and the details of which are not known, hence the references to the above legal issues are not all that profound. The friendship between the two seems to have ended some time ago.
