Matt Gaetz suggests DEMOCRATS are behind Biden’s doc headache to ‘take him out’ before 2024.

“It’s an inside job!” GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz claims DEMOCRATS are behind the Biden documents scandal so they can “take out” 80-year-old Joe before he announces the 2024 run

Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz suggested Wednesday that the classified files found in President Joe Biden’s possession may have been planted there by his Democrats to “take him out” ahead of the 2024 election.

Amid a high-profile Justice Department probe into Donald Trump’s handling of top-secret documents, it was discovered in November that Biden himself had a small number of classified records left over from his vice presidency.

They were found in a closet at the Penn Biden Center think tank, where the current president previously had a private office. Their existence was only revealed this month.

Since then, more such documents have been found at Biden’s family home in Wilmington, Delaware.

Hotheaded Conservative Gaetz apparently hinted to Fox News that it was the result of a conspiracy to prevent the 79-year-old commander in chief from running for a second term.

“There’s an element that feels like Democrats are taking down Joe Biden,” Gaetz said.

He quickly added, “I don’t know that’s the case, but I don’t know that’s not the case.”

“But just as Joe Biden is hardening the cement of his decision to run for president again, they’re looking for classified documents that may have been hidden eight years ago,” Gaetz concluded.

The White House admitted a small stack of Obama administration-era documents was only found at the Washington, DC think tank after CBS News first reported the story.

They were allegedly found among Biden’s personal belongings, such as documents describing his son Beau’s funeral arrangements, and reportedly contained information about Iran and the United Kingdom.

Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel late last week to oversee the matter.

Though Biden hasn’t officially declared his intention to run in 2024, officials and advisers said the president is ready to announce his re-election bid — despite concerns from other Democrats about his advanced age.

A historian of the president told earlier this week it’s too early to say whether the investigation into the classified files will have an impact on Biden’s likely campaign.

“It’s really too early to tell because we don’t know what was in the documents,” David Greenberg, a professor and Rutgers presidential historian, told of Biden’s situation.

“But it seems Biden is confident they were accidentally boxed and that he has nothing to hide. If that’s the case, I assume he won’t view this issue as a burden in 2024 and that he’ll likely stand for re-election.

Greenberg went one step further, speculating whether Biden even embarks on a serious campaign may depend on his political opponent Trump winning the Republican nomination.

“I think Biden sees himself as a firewall against Trump’s return. As long as Trump is running, Biden feels the need to run to block him,” the historian said.

“If another Republican got the nomination, the threat to America would be a lot less and everyone could relax a little — and in a situation like that, Biden might feel okay letting Democrats fight for a successor.”
