She rose to fame on the long-running Australian soap opera Neighbors.

And Margot Robbie had an emotional virtual reunion with former co-stars Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne this week.

The 32-year-old actress fought back tears in the sweet moment as the duo congratulated her on her Hollywood success – but assured there would always be a place for her on set.

Margot and her Babylon co-star Diego Calva appeared on Heart FM with host Dev Griffin to talk about their new Hollywood film.

And the blonde beauty was surprised with a special message from her former co-stars, in which Alan sweetly shared that he and Jackie would be “first in line” to see their new movie.

But the actor, who plays Karl Kennedy on the soap, also reminded her that she always has a place on Neighbors.

“Well, we just wanted to remind you that Kennedy House has many bedrooms,” Alan began.

While his on-screen wife Jackie agreed: “It’s huge so if it ever goes wrong over there, don’t worry, just come home. We’re making room.’

“You bet. We love you so much,” Alan concluded sweetly.

The video message left Margot stunned as she shared: “I could actually cry.

“They’re… I mean, if you’re Australian or British, iconic, iconic, you know, the TV show I worked on called ‘Neighbours’ in Australia, they’re like two of the most similar, iconic characters there are. However…’

She continued, “I don’t know how to convey how emotional this is. But it’s like I spent about three, literally like Jackie invited me over and taught me how to love to roast a chicken and feed yourself.

“And just like Fletch would literally teach me how to manage my money and finances and stuff, Toadie taught me how to do my taxes. And you know, it’s just like that, it’s such a family when you… like that… thanks for doing that, that’s so nice.

Margot went on to say that she originally wanted Neighbors to kill her when she left the show in 2011.

She explained: “Jackie would take me in and teach me how to love to roast a chicken and feed yourself.”

Sharing that they left her character open-ended “just in case,” she added, “You know what, when I was done with Neighbors I was like, ‘Can you guys kill me in one big dramatic death?'”

“And they said, ‘No, no, no, just in case you need to come back on the show if it doesn’t work out in America, we’re going to keep your character alive so you can come back if need be .” And I thought, “I’ll make it, but thanks!”

She made it as the star rose to fame alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in 2013’s Wolf Of Wall Street before starring in a string of leading roles.
