Marco Brignone, the banker and entrepreneur of food and skiing, has died

On the night of August 17, 2022, the banker, collector and above all entrepreneur Marco Brignone died in Turin. Known for having founded a multi-storey Turin brewery in Piazza Teresa Noce in 2017, but also a gastronomic center that even exports its craft beer abroad, Edit has recently restored the enamel of the historic Murazzi del Po , with the urban one Harbor.

Brignone i Murazzi, born in 1938 and the youngest of four brothers, had never visited her but kept hearing about it from his children. So he invested in this 450 square meter venue between six of the 11 arches of the former Devalle warehouses, which opened last May amid good beer and events.

But that was only the last of his exploits. Lover of his city, attentive to international news and fashions, Brignone will be remembered by his children as a man of free spirit and inexhaustible energy. He was Vice President of Banca Brignone, founded by his father in 1926, then sold it to Banca Popolare di Bergamo and in the early 1970s, together with two friends, founded the San Sicario ski area on our Olympic mountains. The funeral will be private.
