Actor Marcelo Serrado, former supporter of Operation Lava Jato that led to the arrest of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in 2018, met with the former President today, posed for photos and reiterated his vote for PT wanting to return to the Palácio do Plateau the this year’s elections.
Serrado, one of the most enthusiastic celebrities in the PT candidacy, appears alongside Lula in a photo shared by the PT candidate on social media. The actor makes the letter “L” by hand.
“I met with Marcelo Serrado. A great professional with characters in film and TV. Let’s set out together for Brazil’s future,” he said.
Serrado has shown support for Lula since last year, months before the PT made the former president’s candidacy official. According to the actor, one of the main reasons for supporting the PT’s return to Planalto lies in the “carelessness” with which the current administration of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) has treated the artistic class.
Marcelo Serrado was a huge supporter of Operation Car Wash, even taking part in demonstrations alongside figures such as actress Susana Vieira to support thenJudge Sergio Moro the actor even played Moro in the film “Bundespolizei A Lei é Para Alle”, about the task force.
