In an interview with the podcast Podpah, the Comedian Marcelo Adnetaged 41, revealed he was suffering sexual abuse by a 5yearold man who was saved from being raped by his grandfather.

“I was raped when I was 5 years old but the guy didn’t really go into it. When he was about to put it in, my grandfather came. I forgot my wallet at home. I was saved.”
While still attending, the comedian reported that he told his parents the story some time later and they were surprised by the situation. He concluded that he may have contracted HIV after the abuse and questioned his parents about the disease. “Then, when I was 12, I found out that AIDS existed. I thought, ‘I have AIDS. My god, I could have AIDS!’” the comedian recalled.
Adnet says it’s important to raise the issue to raise awareness about child sexual abuse and says it’s important to have sex education.
