Mara Maravilha provokes Xuxa Meneghel after Bolsonaro defeat
It is not today that Mara Maravilha and Xuxa Meneghel provoke each other on social networks. This time, this Tuesday (2), the former SBT host satirized Rainha dos Baixinhos’ film, Amor Estranho Amor (1982).
In a post from humor profile Jeje Cricri praising Xuxa, Mara responded with the film’s title. “Amor Estranho Amor”, released to commemorate the controversies of the feature film by Rainha dos Baixinhos.
The tweet mentions that Bolsonaro voters who support truck driver demonstrations on highways across the country deserve to be exposed and ridiculed on the internet: “Whoever supports a coup deserves to be ridiculed on the internet will. In fact, that person didn’t even need to have a stage.”
“Nearly 700,000 dead and 33 million Brazilians starving. Xuxa Rainha,” he concluded. That person who “didn’t even have to have a stage” is Mara Maravilha, since the singer published a series of stories on Instagram about Jair Bolsonaro’s announcement and about the outcome of the 2022 elections that cemented Lula’s victory with more than two million voice difference.
Mara took advantage of and praised Bolsonaro and his speech after the defeat a speech delivered two days after the second round result. “Brazil above all, God above all (…) That’s it! My name is Mara Maravilha,” he said.
