According to the representative, the 81-year-old actor died from serious liver-related health problems. He assured that he had stopped eating in the last few days and therefore suddenly lost weight.

Who was Manuel Ojeda?
Manuel Salvador Ojeda Armenta, better known in the entertainment world as Manuel Ojeda, was born on November 4, 1940 in the city of La Paz in the state of Baja California. From an early age he showed his interest in the world of acting.
According to various show media, the first actor began his theatrical career after completing his acting studies in Fine Arts. In the 1970s he entered the film industry and worked on more than 200 films. His crowning moment came when he starred as Zolo in the Hollywood film Romancing the Stone.
Manuel Ojeda made his debut in the world of telenovelas in 1978 in the successful production Santa. He later showed his talent in other dramas such as The right to be born, The Flight of the Eagle and The Tempest. His last work on the small screen was Corazón Guerrero.
