According to dealers in the region, Tenilto Celso Sauca identified itself in bars as Rouxinol, from the duo with Sabiá. THE B band contacted the duo’s rep, who confirmed that one person currently goes by the name Nightingale, but is alive and continues to perform shows across the country. According to him, Sauca was never part of the duo.

Antônio Marcos is a merchant in the central region of Curitiba and guarantees that Sauca has always sung very well.

“People here called him Birdie but he didn’t like it so he asked him to be called Nightingale. He even posted videos on Youtube claiming he was the singer and had gone through one of the formations. I don’t know if he was first or second, but he sang very well,” he comments.

However, Sauca was also known to be an alcoholic and even told friends that he was “waiting to die” last Sunday (12).

Marcos says he liked sauca, but he stopped serving alcohol.

“We liked him singing because when he drank he kept falling over,” he laments.

The body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML).
