Man steals sex toys from sex shop and calls store: ‘disputed’

Queensland State Police, Australia, are searching for a man suspected of stealing a sex toy from a sex shop in Toowoomba on February 20.

Surveillance cameras caught the thief taking a “dildo” (a rubber penis used for oral or anal sex) and storing it in the pocket of his shorts. After hiding the artifact, he leaves the store.

The situation was revealed by Love Heart Adult Shop in a post that has since been deleted from its Facebook page. In the post, the company mocked the action of the thief, who went to the location accompanied by a woman.

“It’s a nice 7.5″ (about 19 cm) you’ve got in your pants… too bad it’s just our tester. You may have used it more than we did, but it won’t heat up and spin for long without the charger!!” the post read.

Love Heart Adult Shop manager Ash Sturner told Chron Australia that the man’s partner distracted shop staff while hiding the dildo.

According to Sturner, after seeing the post on Facebook, the man contacted the sex shop and apologized for the theft. He further explained that he was challenged and paid to steal the item.

However, the manager indicated that the “customer” did not attempt to return the item and reported the theft to police, who said they were investigating.
