Maddie McCann: A German girl claims to be the little English girl who disappeared in 2007

A young girl of German origin explained on her social networks that she could possibly be little Madeleine McCann, known as “Maddie”, who disappeared in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in 2007.

Is it really little Maddie? A young German woman living in Poland recently posted a video on her Instagram account saying she was convinced she was Madeleine McCann, known as “Maddie”, who disappeared in Portugal in 2007 without ever getting in touch since to have.

Dubbed iammadelemccan (I’m Madeleine McCann in French), her page is followed by no fewer than 386,000 people.

In a video shared on Friday, the 21-year-old young woman highlights physical resemblances to the little English girl who disappeared sixteen years ago, like birthmarks or even a smile.

In her bio, she says she wants to “speak to Kate and Gerry McCann,” Maddie’s parents. She is also asking to be allowed to take a “DNA test” to verify her true identity.

The young woman tries to show similarities with them in photo montages.

In particular, she told during these videos that the doubt in her was discovered after an exchange with her grandmother.

“She told me that my family knew I had been hurt by a pedophile,” she says, adding that one of the suspects registered on the official site findmadeleine.com looks like her attacker.

Last Friday she announced that she was in contact with a member of the McCann family, without the parents, Kate and Gerry confirming or commenting on this information.
