Kem Cetinay returned to social media on Thursday after the tragic accident that killed a motorcyclist in Essex two weeks ago.
Tommy Griggs, 28, was killed when his bike was involved in an accident with the star’s Mercedes G Wagon on August 5.
The Love Island star, 26, who was “shaken up” has been noticeably absent from social media since the horrific accident.

Taking to Instagram in a post to his story, Kem smiled sweetly next to a young child and wrote: “Gym sesh with my little mate.”
The reality TV star wore a black Puma t-shirt as he brushed his hair back from his face for a workout.
Kem is said to have been “traumatized” after the fatal collision with a motorcyclist “who overtook and ended up on the wrong side of the road before the 60-mile dash.

An aide told Web: “It was tough for him. Kem is very sad that someone lost their life in an accident involving him.
“He was driving to a bank and then to his restaurant when his Mercedes G-Wagen was involved in an accident involving a motorcyclist.
“Kem has been staying with friends since Thursday and is in shock.”
His father Niyazi told Web today: “Kem is so upset and shocked by this. It is all the sadder that we now know that the motorcyclist had a young daughter. It’s so tragic.’
Web understands Kem passed a breath test after stopping at the scene and has provided officers with a full statement.

Paramedics struggled to save the motorcyclist, but he tragically died in the accident. Photos from the scene of the accident show Kem’s smashed G-Wagen behind police tape and the damaged motorcycle lying on the sidewalk.
Witnesses said the motorcyclist was passing cars as he drove up Shepherds Hill in Romford as the TV star drove down.
“I feel for him. He was watching someone die before his eyes,” a witness told The Sun. “The rider of the motorcycle flew about 20 feet in the air before landing on the road.”

They said “about six witnesses” saw the crash, with the motorcyclist overtaking the cars when he “slammed head-on into Kem’s car on a 30-mile road at about 60 mph.”

A witness who saw the aftermath of the crash told Web: “Kem was clearly upset and disturbed by what happened. He paced. He phoned and spoke to two women on the side of the road. He seemed to be in shock.’
It happened more than 700 meters from Kem’s Restaurant Array, which he opened last July.
A source told Web: “Kem is devastated by what happened. He’s a sensible driver; No one could have foreseen this tragic accident.
“There was no wrongdoing on Kem’s side, he is not at fault and is being treated as a witness by the police.
“He’s still dealing with the shock along with close friends and family.”

A statement from the Metropolitan Police confirmed: “Police were called at 11:32am on Thursday 4 August to receive reports of a collision at Shepherds Hill, Romford.
‘Police and London Ambulance [LAS] took part. A car collided with a motorcycle at the scene.
‘Despite the efforts of paramedics, the male motorcyclist [no further details] was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene at 12:04 p.m. An investigation is underway to notify relatives.
“The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting the police in their investigation. He was not arrested.’
A statement released by Kem’s representative said: “Kem was involved in a traffic accident near his home in the Brentwood area around 11.30am this morning.

“Tragically, a motorcyclist died in the collision. Kem assists the police and is only treated as a witness to the incident.
“Kem will have no further comment on this matter other than to offer his deepest condolences, prayers and sympathy to the family and friends of the motorcyclist.”
In 2017, Kem won Love Island with his former girlfriend Amber Davies, 25, winning the £50,000 cash prize.
The pair split four months after being crowned champions but remained friends.
Following his popularity on the ITV2 show, Kem and his former co-star Chris Hughes, 29, co-starred in the spin-off series Straight Outta Love Island and released the single ‘Little Bit Leave It’.

The former hairdresser is a mental health advocate and has spoken out since winning Love Island about suffering from anxiety and depression throughout his childhood.
He previously worked as an ambassador for the suicide prevention charity CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably) and became Childline’s first mental health activist in 2019.
