Teddy Soares has broken his silence on rumors that his relationship with Faye Winter is now over.
The couple, who met on ITV2 show Love Island, are said to have gone their separate ways after dating for a year and a half.
Teddy took to his Instagram Story on Saturday but held his cards close to his chest as he said he had “nothing but respect” for the stunning blonde.
He also stated that he didn’t want to comment on any speculation or rumors and asked his fans for privacy.
Teddy said: “Everything you’ve read in the press is wrong. Since we first met, I have felt nothing but love and respect for Faye.’

He continued the post, “I do not wish to comment on any rumors speculating about our relationship and ask that you respect our privacy at this time. Dear Teddy.’

The Instagram story comes after fans noticed the pair have been noticeably absent from each other’s social posts.
It was reported last month that the couple were in “crisis talks” about their relationship.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Things have not been working out between Teddy and Faye for a while.
“The tension boiled over a few weeks ago and they’ve spent some time apart trying to figure out what they want.”
However, according to the source, Faye was still fighting in hopes of salvaging the relationship.
“Faye is fighting to save their relationship and hopes they can get back on track.”
It comes after Faye recently tried to add fuel to the fire by posting some racy Valentine’s Day snaps to her Instagram.

At the end of the post, she also gave fans a hint that she’s working on falling in love with herself again.

Some fans were quick to ask Faye if she and Teddy broke up.
One fan commented, “I’m confused… are you still dating Teddy or not?”

Faye was one of the original girls on the 2021 Love Island show and she first teamed up with Brad McClelland.
Later in the series she bonded with Liam Reardon. Soon after, however, Teddy came in to shake things up at the mansion.
Faye and Teddy then ended up together and made the perfect couple. However, their relationship was tested when it came time for Casa Amor, and they had to deal with some struggles along the way.
However, the couple still came out strong from the show and left the villa as boyfriend and girlfriend.
