In a post shared to Instagram Stories, the 27-year-old wrote: “For the past week I’ve been taking time to reflect on my actions.

“I made a mistake that I don’t take lightly. This behavior is out of character and I am truly sorry for letting you all down.’

She continued, “I’m sorry for my friends, family, my team and the brands I represent.

“I hope that with time I can win back your trust and respect. Thank you to those who have signed up.

Some fans couldn’t help but notice that the apology bore resemblance to the one Nadia Bartel made during her own white powder scandal in 2021.

“Hello everyone, I have let you all down with my actions. I take full responsibility and commit to taking whatever steps are necessary to ensure I make better decisions going forward,” Bartel wrote in an Instagram post in September

“For my family and friends, my business associates and the public health workers who are trying to keep us all safe, I am embarrassed and remorseful.

“I’m really, really sorry. I hope I can earn your forgiveness and, in time, your trust.’

Footage of Bartel snorting white powder from a plate at the gathering began going viral in September 2021.

In the video, Bartel can be seen snorting powder from a $1.50 Kmart plate held by a dark-haired woman, while a third woman shows a two-finger hand gesture in the background.

The three-second video was accidentally uploaded to Instagram by Bartel’s friend and business partner Ellie Pearson in September.

The clip began with the fashion and beauty influencer leaning over the plate with a rolled up banknote in her left nostril while squeezing her right nostril.

Then she snorted the substance while the other two women watched.

Private and public gatherings were not permitted in Melbourne, where Bartel lives, under Victoria’s nationwide Covid restrictions at the time of the video.

Nadia has not been charged with any drug offenses. Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Shane Patton confirmed they would take no further action as officers were “unable to determine what the substance on the plate was”.

A picture of Cassidy holding a plate of white powder circulated on social media.

The photo was accidentally uploaded to Instagram by McGill before being deleted shortly after on Wednesday night.

In the photo, McGill, 27, can be seen grinning with her mouth and eyes closed while holding a plate on which appear to be two lines of a white substance, along with a small sachet of powder.

A rolled-up bill appears to be in her right hand while a friend looks directly down the barrel of the reality star’s camera.

“Oops see you tomorrow,” Cassidy captioned the picture.

Fans quickly reacted to the picture on social media, with one person writing: “This is just disappointing”.

“Blown up,” a second person wrote, before a third commented. “We saw it baby.”

“Nadia Bartel season 2,” quipped another, referencing Bartel’s white powder scandal.

Chron Australia has reached out to Cassidy for comment.
