The woman’s name is Lisa Charters and she lives in Europe. With her husband, Lisa earned £33 million, which is more than 207 million reais today. Her first decision after becoming a millionaire in the lottery was to travel. So far so good, because that’s what most people want for a jackpot like this.
After returning from her trip, she hired a team to study the possibility of demolishing her home in Edinburgh, Scotland. The aim was to build a threestory mansion on the site of the former residential building.

However, the woman’s neighbors were outraged by her decision to transform her original home. In total there were 63 rejection letters or with any objections. However, Edinburgh Council reported that the project was within the required parameters set by local legislation.
The information was released by the tabloid Daily Record. The board said it understood the objections but did not disagree with the lottery winner’s wish.
The problem would be the architecture of the house, which can completely change the landscape of the place and disturb the neighbors, especially the closest ones. However, there is nothing in the law against construction.
Despite this, the lotterywinning couple have not yet decided whether they will pursue their dream of a villa or respect the decision of the other residents.
