The Police Service of the Longueuil Agglomeration (SPAL) has arrested two people of interest, a man and a woman, after a five-month investigation in order to shed light on the sordid murder of Manon Greenwood.
The two suspects live in Longueuil.
On January 5, Manon Boisvert, 54, was found dead in her vehicle in a shopping mall parking lot on Roland Therrien Boulevard in Longueuil. The 50-year-old had his throat cut.
The suspects will be met by investigators on Wednesday afternoon, said Mélanie Mercille, SPAL’s public relations officer. The case is then turned over to the Chief of Criminal Investigation and Law Enforcement.
At the beginning of May, the Longueuil police carried out a new search for evidence very close to where Manon Boisvert’s body was found.
