Lisa Marie Presley’s sarcophagus was unveiled ahead of her memorial service Sunday at Graceland.
The daughter of rock ‘n’ roll king Elvis Presley is buried in the backyard of the Clan compound alongside her son Benjamin, who died by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27. She will also face her father who died in 1977 from a heart attack.
According to the Chron, photos of Lisa and Benjamin were placed together in front of their memorials.
Benjamin’s sarcophagus had to be moved to make room for his mother.
A plaque to be placed on Presley’s grave is currently covered with a tarp for protection.

A stage and hundreds of chairs have been set up in the backyard of the Presley family’s Memphis home, where large crowds are expected to gather for the late singer’s public worship, the Chron reported. A private service is said to be held beforehand.
Flower arrangements were put together and the property lined.
The mother-of-four died on January 12 after suffering a cardiac arrest, aged just 54.
Presley’s official cause of death remains undetermined after an initial autopsy, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner.

Presley, who lost her father when she was nine, has said in the past that she hated the back lawn at Graceland and the family vault where Elvis’ parents are buried.
“Graceland’s back lawn is basically a graveyard. How many people have a family plot in their backyard? How many people are reminded of their fate, their mortality, every @#%$ day? All the graves are lined up and there’s a place waiting for me, right next to my grandmother,” she told Playboy in 2003.
When asked if she plans to be buried there, she said: “I’m sure that’s where I will end up. Or I shrink my head and put it in a glass box in the living room. That way I can bring more tourists to Graceland.”
