A total of at least 25 children reportedly suffered skin burns, severe abdominal pain and food poisoning after ingesting the colorful candies, Indonesia’s health ministry said, according to CNN.

Two of them should have even been taken to a hospital, but no deaths have been reported, according to the ministry’s director general, Maxi Rein Rondonuwu.

The latter nonetheless called for vigilance, while the videos of “Drachenatem” (“Breath of the Dragon” in French) are gaining popularity on the TikTok platform, where you can see smoke coming out of the nose and mouth of those eating sweets.

However, using liquid nitrogen in dishes is not illegal, and several chefs use it to add drama to their presentation.
