Lili Reinhart talks about producing and starring in Netflix’s Look Both Ways on The Tonight Show… while trying out bizarre Mountain Dew-inspired products
Lili Reinhart said she enjoyed producing her new Netflix movie Look Both Ways on NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night.
“I love being in control of things,” said the 25-year-old actress. “It’s better to have the executive producer title, otherwise you’re like a bossy actor.”
Lili, who wore a brown and yellow dress, explained that the film is about a main character, Natalie, who becomes pregnant on the eve of her graduation and then her life splits into two different parallel lives, one where she is pregnant, and one in which she was pregnant was not.

“What I loved most about the film when I read the script was that there is no wrong way,” Lili said.
“There’s no one that makes you think, ‘Oh, that was the bad guy’.” So I think both — I think there are silver linings in both and it’s comforting to know that there isn’t a single decision you can make that will completely derail everything in your world,” she added.
Jimmy pointed to a tweet of hers looking for a Mountain Dew at Coachella in April.

He said since she liked it he had some Mountain Dew inspired products on hand that they could try. Lili first tried a Mountain Dew lip balm and then a Mountain Dew-inspired ice cream.
“I wouldn’t bother eating that,” Lili said.
Lili shared that it was her mother who brought her to Mountain Dew in the first place.

“My mom drank it when I was in the womb, so it’s her fault,” Lili said.
Jimmy also gave her a glass of Mountain Dew-inspired vodka and a bottle of Mountain Dew flaming hot soda. She wasn’t a fan of either.

Reinhart rose to fame playing Betty Cooper on The CW’s Riverdale, which debuted in 2017.
The actress wrapped up the sixth season of the hit series last month, with the show being renewed for a seventh and final season.
The final season is expected to debut mid-season during the 2022-2023 TV season, although no exact date has been given yet.
