Dots on the i! This Friday (13th), Lexa countered comments that she had resumed her marriage to MC Guimê through marketing. The allegations intensified after the artist was confirmed as one of the participants of “Big Brother Brasil 23”. In Stories, the singer put an end to the allegations and even described how the lovebirds came together.
“I’ll explain it briefly and not talk about it anymore because I don’t need to talk about it. However, out of respect for the people I love, who follow me, who follow us on social media, I will explain. Guimê and I broke up last year, as you know, like any other couple. We never broke up, we never broke up, then we broke up, normal, like any couple, ups and downs,” the star began.

Lexa revealed that the two were even filing for divorce at the time and living in different houses. “And then, during that time, Big Brother’s invitation to Guimê came. And then when we came back he told me. When we came back he told me. So I supported his decision. And there are people who say it was marketing, I don’t know what,” she continued.

“Guys sorry a marriage of almost eight years do you think I’d been with someone for eight years because of marketing? I can no longer justify myself. I, as a woman, always put myself in this place to justify myself, not to look like a gold digger. This is terrible, I don’t need this, I don’t need this. Lexa and MC Guimê got married in São Paulo in May 2018. The couple announced their split in October 2022, but resumed their romance two months later.
