Black Panther: Forever Wakanda, the sequel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, hits theaters later this year, on November 11th to be precise.
Black Panther 2 is already one of the most anticipated films of the year despite being released almost five years after the original film and Marvel Studios hasn’t even started the promotional campaign for the production yet.
As everyone knows, the film lost its protagonist, Chadwick Boseman, which prompted director and screenwriter Ryan Coogler to reshoot almost the entire film, which will now focus on the other characters in Wakanda, especially Shuri (Letitia Wright).
Finally, the director’s and Marvel Studios’ ultimate decision was not to cast a new actor for the role of T’Challa, meaning that Black Panther 2 must also bring about the hero’s death himself.
What doesn’t seem to have changed from the originally planned film adaptation to the remake is the choice of the main villain of the plot: the datingwho is played in the film by Tenoch Huerta, the actor best known from the series Narcos: Mexico.
And a leaked image finally revealed the villain’s look, which appears to be very faithful to the villain’s classic look, including embellishments referencing the wings on Namor’s feet. Check it out below:
