As Lady Chatterley yearns for an all-consuming relationship, she finds herself on the Mellors’ doorstep – after seeing him standing naked in his garden.
He invites her and so begins the passionate affair.
Snippets of scenes in the new trailer show Connie and Mellors, barely dressed, rolling around in a field as she climbs it at a particularly risky moment.

As their passion grows, Lady Chatterley’s husband becomes even more suspicious and demands to know where she’s been in a scene.
They are warned, “Do you know how bad this could end up?”

Elsewhere in the film, Joely Richardson also plays Sir Clifford’s nurse, who can be heard asking who is taking care of Connie when she is taking care of him.
It comes after that Emma, who uses the pronoun ‘she’, spoke about the freedom to film nude scenes with Jack in Lady Chatterley’s Lover in an interview with The Cut, which is accompanied by a fancy photoshoot.
They said: “I’m so glad it didn’t feel like unnecessary nudity. We talked a lot about it when we started rehearsals.
“We’ve always wanted every sex scene or part of the film to be totally valid and evolving in their experience.

“The last scene, when Connie goes to Scotland and she knows he’s behind her before he gets there, we shot it pretty early on and I forgot about it. When I saw it for the first time, it really grabbed me.
Emma also spoke about the importance of touch in the film.
They said, “I think [touch] A big part of that was that in COVID everyone felt the lack of intimacy from not being able to hug family or be around people they care about.

“They explore it in very different ways. Connie manages to find that freedom. It grounds them and brings them back to life.’
