(ANSA) — ROME, AUGUST 20 — Russia has already lost about 44,900 troops in Ukraine, up 200 in the last day. The statement was published by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Between 24 February 2022 and 20 August 2022, total Russian combat losses also included 1,907 tanks (+8 on the last day), 4,212 armored fighting vehicles (+17), 1,018 artillery systems (+2) and 266 multi-launch missile anti-aircraft systems , 141 anti-aircraft systems, 234 aircraft, 197 helicopters, 3,137 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+7), 15 warships/boats, 803 unmanned aerial vehicles (+8), 97 special equipment (+3).
