Kristin Chenoweth and Ariana Grande sing Over the Rainbow in stunning TikTok duet

Kristen Chenoweth teamed up with Ariana Grande on Sunday and sang a beautiful duet of Over the Rainbow for TikTok.

Grande, 29, originally posted a solo video of her singing the iconic ballad, leading 54-year-old Chenoweth – who almost burst out of her skin-tight dress last week – to add her own vocals and do some magic effect.

Ariana will star in the film adaptation of Wicked as Glinda – a role that launched Kristin to stardom on Broadway almost two decades ago.

The petite divas both wore pink in their TikTok, with Kristin donning a Yeti coat while a crocheted blanket draped Ariana’s arms and head.

Kristen let her blonde locks flow freely and Ariana’s porcelain skin glowed with star power.

“You know I just had to do this in a duet,” Chenoweth captioned the TikTok. ‘Above that [rainbow emoji] with my little girl.’

“Just two Ozians,” Chenoweth added in the caption, referring to the magical land of Oz inhabited by her character, Glinda.

With their powerful vocals blending into one, the Grammy winners sent TikTok ablaze.

‘Infant!’ proclaimed Chenoweth. “It is based on reciprocity.”

Back in 2021, when the Thank U, Next superstar was announced as the new Glinda, Kristin said, “I’m not sure I’ve ever been that proud. From the day I met you, you were destined for this role.’

Chenoweth recently sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live and said that Grande will “put her own stamp on the role that made her a star”.

When the Bravo host asked if she’d spoken to Grande about the role, the Emmy-winner replied, “Yes, I have. She will put her own stamp on it. I’m so proud of her. I wanted her to do her Glenda. And she does. I’m proud of her.”

According to director Jon M. Chu, Wicked will be split into two films that will be released a year apart.

During her WWHL interview, Andy asked Kristin, “How do you feel about the Wicked films being split in two? Is it enough for two?’

“There’s so much more in the books that we know about the characters, so yes, there is,” the Tony winner replied. ‘And I haven’t read anything, but I think so. I think it’s enough.”

Filming is being kept secret, but excitement surrounding Wicked continues to grow.
