According to the Kremlin, Russia and China want to strengthen their economic cooperation in light of Western sanctions. This was agreed during a telephone conversation between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, the Russian Presidential Office in Moscow said today.
Cooperation must be strengthened “in view of the global economic situation, which has been complicated by illegal sanctions imposed by the West”.
According to the information, Moscow and Beijing want to strengthen their cooperation in the areas of energy, finance, industry and transport, among others. Putin and Xi also spoke about “the development of military relations”.
