Kim Kardashian posed with a group of ex-prisoners as she continued her work for justice reform this week.
The 42-year-old law student flashed a peace sign as she posed with the men – who had all been sentenced to life in prison but have since transformed their lives by helping their communities.
The prison reform advocate noted in the caption, “They were all sentenced to life in prison … and served decades in prison before being paroled by the parole board or commuted by the governor.”

The mother-of-four began the caption by introducing the collective while writing, “Meet Jacob, J’Mel, Dominique, Phil, Earlonne, Abraham, Serafin and David.”
Giving background to her followers, she added, “You’ve completely changed your life and dedicated the rest of your life to youth and working at ARC [Anti-Recidivism Coalition] and intelligent justice.’
Her caption continued, “Scott Budnick organized a trip to Pelican Bay Prison, known as one of the most dangerous prisons in California.”

“But these days, the men in Pelican Bay are getting college degrees, making incredible art, training rescue dogs, becoming computer programmers and doing self-help and programming with crime victims,” she explained.
It comes less than a week after the multihyphenate shared another social media post discussing her work in the criminal justice system.
Days ago, the businesswoman gave her fans a glimpse of a trip to Ohio where she visited inmate Kevin Keith and spoke about his case on a panel.
Wearing chic gray pants and a matching trench coat, she wrote online: “Yesterday I had the honor of visiting Kevin Keith in prison in Ohio after meeting all his family and speaking about his case at a justice reform panel.
“We discussed his case on my @spotify podcast The System: The Case of Kevin Keith. God, it’s so unfair that he’s been incarcerated for 29 years for a crime he didn’t commit. I won’t stop fighting for you Kevin!’

Kim’s advocacy dates back to 2017 when she campaigned for Alice Johnson’s pardon.
She first reached out to Ivanka Trump about the case and later met with former President Donald Trump to campaign for Johnson.
It led to Trump pardoning Alice for a nonviolent drug trafficking offense and getting her out of prison in the summer of 2018.
Since then, Kardashian has fought for others in similar situations, including Kevin Cooper and Julius Jones.

Kim recently opened up about her first trip to the White House on Angie Martinez’s IRL Podcast: “I hated how I felt when I first went to the White House and I didn’t know half of everything they said – like all that clemency talk and all that lawyer jargon and everything they talked about.’
“With Alice, I was really naive about how it all works,” she said. “There’s a lot of work behind it.”
Kardashian said her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian, loved that she followed his career path into the legal world and that they’d spoken out about her following him.
With her continued efforts, the SKIMS founder successfully helped to overturn Jones’ death sentence.

And last May, on the first season of her family’s Hulu show, The Kardashians, Kim documented the moment she learned she’d passed the “Baby Bar” legal exam.
While in her car with friend and publicist Tracy Romulus, the media personality logged into an online account where she saw the results of her third test attempt.
“Everyone told me that this was the impossible path and that I would never pass this test, and I did it,” she later said in an interview with Confession.
