Kim Kardashian addressed her now infamous debacle when she photoshopped the face of Khloe Kardashian’s daughter True onto the face of Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi.
Kim, 41, was having lunch with sisters Kourtney Kardashian, 43, and Khloe, 38, as Kim apologized for the whole ordeal.
Kim insisted it wasn’t as big a “scandal” as some might have thought, revealing she only did it to match her Instagram grid aesthetic.

Kim arrives at her table at Il Fornaio Italian restaurant when she immediately starts talking about her now infamous “true photoshopped incident.”
“Oh my god I’m so sorry I forgot we made this story up,” says Khloe, as Kim explains that she “has a grid for IG and I do pink and blue.”
“There was the cutest picture of Chi(cago) and (Kylie’s daughter) Stormi at Disneyland and they’re wearing pink,” Kim began.

“I sent it to Kylie for approval, she’s like, ‘No, I really don’t want to put any pictures of Stormi out right now.’ I respect it, so I photoshop True’s face onto Stormi’s body,” Kim says, laughing.
Kourtney says, “I saw that and I thought there’s no way anyone would ever do that,” while Khloe adds, “She sent it to me and I was like, ‘Wait, you took True to Disneyland without me?’
Kourtney added that Khloe then posted a photo of True’s first time at Disneyland, and now “everyone thinks it’s like a big scandal.”

Turning directly to the camera, Kim says, “You heard it here first. It’s not a big scandal. I just wanted my grid to be pink and blue. Photoshop fails, but whatever.’
Kim posted the photos in December 2021, though many eagle-eyed fans were quick to suspect they were altered.
When Khloe actually took True to Disneyland for the first time in April 2022, fans had caught her lying as Kim claimed True was with her, but it was actually Stormi.

Khloe admitted the slip-up on Twitter, admitting, “I messed this up. Anyway… let’s focus on something else.’
Kim also confirmed the snafu on social media, saying, “The original images were Stormi!” Kim wrote while posting the original with her caption. “But I asked @kyliejenner if I could post them and she said [insert crying face] She didn’t really feel like posting at the moment and I respect that! But it wouldn’t mess up my IG feed. Chi wore pink and it matched perfectly.’
She added: “It wasn’t the aesthetic I wanted and I can admit that! You know how much a good aesthetic means to my soul and I’ll be damned if Kylie ruins this for me and messes up my IG grid. So thank you True for taking one for the team!’ [sic].
Finally, she added, “I didn’t think it would be such a big deal if her own mother asked if it was the first time I smuggled her into a Disneyland.” [sic].
