Kellie Pickler’s late husband, Kyle Jacobs, took to Instagram this week to commemorate the success of country star Lee Brice’s fifth album, Hey World, which he produced.
“Platinum?! SWEET!!! An amazing crew of incredibly talented people put this song together,” the songwriter captioned the post Thursday, a day before he apparently died by suicide.
“I’m deeply honored to be a creative part of this… Thank you Jesus!!!” he added, before tagging people who contributed to the song’s success.
Metropolitan Nashville Police Department spokesman Don Aaron confirmed to The Post on Friday that Jacobs was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot at the home he shared with Pickler. He was 49.

Pickler, 36, reportedly woke up Friday and couldn’t find her husband.
After the “American Idol” graduate and an assistant searched their home, they found the upstairs door was locked, police said.
After numerous attempts to get inside, Pickler and the assistant reportedly called the police, who gained entry and discovered Jacobs’ body inside.

The “Red High Heels” singer has yet to comment on her husband’s death. However, several stars have expressed their condolences to the family on social media.

Jacobs died Friday by apparent suicide.
Pickler reportedly woke up and couldn’t find her husband.
“R.I.P. Kyle Jacobs. Condolences to Kellie Pickler and Kyle’s family and friends. Check your family and friends. We never know how another may struggle. #SuicideAwareness,” country singer Stella Parton added on twitter.
Pickler and Jacobs tied the knot in 2011 and have no children together.

When police got to Picker’s home, they found Jacob’s body in a locked room.
Pickler has not publicly commented on her husband’s death.
The American Idol graduate has received condolences from several stars.
The couple starred on their own CMT reality show, I Love Kellie Pickler, for three seasons from 2015 to 2017.
Jacobs has worked with several stars including Tim McGraw, Randy Travis, Kelly Clarkson, Scott McCreery and George Strait.
He also helped Garth Brooks write his #1 song “More Than A Memory” in 2007.
