Kellermayr case Investigations against Berliners

Kellermayr case: Investigations against Berliners

In the case of Upper Austria doctor Lisa-Maria Kellermayr, who was threatened by the anti-vaccination scene and who committed suicide in late July, there is now a concrete investigative approach in Berlin.

The Attorney General’s Office confirmed an ORF report to the APA on Wednesday, according to which a 31-year-old man was being investigated for threats. There was no further information, citing the ongoing investigation.

Bavarian data carriers are evaluated

One is a little further in Bavaria: last Friday, a house search was carried out on a 59-year-old suspect in the district of Starnberg. The data carriers found in the process would still be evaluated, a spokesperson for the Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office explained in an interview with ORF. Investigated for threat and stalking.

He also complained that there were few legal options, such as a very short storage period for IP addresses. A normal investigation procedure takes some time from notification to the corresponding investigation steps, so IP addresses have already been deleted by then.
