Kate Ritchie appeared to put her troubles behind as she dined al fresco with a male friend on Sunday.
The former Home and Away star and her pal sat down with a row of takeaway boxes in a park in Coogee, a Sydney beachfront suburb.
The 44-year-old was dressed casually in a floral ensemble and appeared makeup-free for the outing.

She wore her hair tied back from her face and was busy indulging in the feast, which included a bottle of orange soda.
Kate’s male friend wore a dark t-shirt, blue shorts and a beanie.
The pair sat close together as they ate their meal al fresco on a stretch of lawn by the beach.
Kate later posted a sultry selfie to Instagram Stories where she’s lying on a plush white carriage.

In December, Chron Australia exclusively revealed that Kate had split from cybersecurity expert John Bell, 25, after a whirlwind romance of less than a year.
“Kate is single. Lockdown is to blame,” a source said.
“Kate and John have not seen each other since January, despite the opening of the borders with Victoria a few weeks ago. She never once mentioned that she wanted to visit him.”
The couple were last seen together in January during a PDA-filled holiday in Byron Bay.

They reportedly stayed in an Airbnb and spent most of their time relaxing by their private mineral salt pool and visiting the city’s best restaurants.
John founded the security solutions business VIREOSS in September 2019.
Kate was previously married to retired NRL player Stuart Webb, with whom she shares a daughter, Mae.

The star appears to be in a much better place than she was at the end of last year, when she was spending time in rehab to battle her alcohol addiction.
The media personality recently reassured listeners that she is “fine” and will be back on her drive show Nova FM in a few weeks.
“Hello everyone, I’ll be away for a few more weeks,” she wrote on Instagram, addressing her extended late-afternoon absence.

“But in the meantime make sure you tune in to the guys who will be back live in the studio from 4pm on Monday! By the way, I’m fine and I’m looking forward to 2023.”

It was later revealed she was seeking treatment for alcohol addiction after Chron Australia received photos of her outside a rehab facility.
