Prince William and Kate Middleton drunk? Such a scene seems hard to believe today. The future king and queen of England pays a lot of attention to their image. Every public appearance of the couple is beyond reproach. Whether it’s official visits, meetings with young children or healthcare professionals, restaurant and bar inaugurations or religious events, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are always present and in their best light. Which wasn’t always the case.
Like everyone else (and like their children George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4, in a few years), Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoyed their youth and several nights at the bar while they were still at university. No protocol then. The lovebirds live like all young people of their age: love, fresh water… But above all alcohol.
In a documentary about Prince William, an ex-student and friend of the couple has testified about the beginnings of the love story between the prince and the young woman.
