Crafted from textured crepe, her blazer creates a fitted and flattering silhouette thanks to the square pockets and prominent, padded shoulders.

She combined a white body from the designer label Holland Cooper with the smart blazer, which she has worn several times in the past.

According to its website, the center focuses on three main areas: exploring the meaning of early years; working with the public, private and voluntary sectors to share knowledge; and campaigns to raise awareness of the issue.

Among the members of the group she is meeting today is Professor Peter Fonagy OBE, head of the Department of Psychology and Linguistics at UCL, who previously said Kate focused on the early years to ensure she was the best mother who she can be.

In 2018, Peter spoke to People magazine about the inspiration behind Kate’s favorite projects.

“Part of her interest in prevention is making sure she’s doing things right in her own parenting,” he said.

He added that the princess thinks it’s “an incredible privilege to be a mother”.

“I know her advice and experience will be greatly appreciated by The Princess and the entire Center for Early Childhood team as we continue to raise awareness and take action on the transformative impact of the early years.

“The advisory group’s support in our key areas of research, collaboration and awareness-raising will be invaluable, and I look forward to working closely with them to make a difference for generations to come.”

Some of those involved have already played a crucial role in the work that The Princess of Wales has been pursuing in this field for more than a decade, helping her to shape her work on the subject and reinforcing her determination to contribute to the Changing the way people think about early childhood.

The Advisory Group appointment comes as the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood appoints Christian Guy as Director of the Centre.

Kate’s appearance today comes after a royal expert said the princess will “rise above the drama” following her brother-in-law’s explosive memoir.
