The Princess of Wales looked dapper in a burgundy £1,200 Roland Mouret suit as she stepped out to meet wheelchair rugby players at Hampton Court this afternoon.

Kate, 41, looked calm and collected as she arrived at Hampton Court Palace in the wake of the growing episodes of Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare.

The mother-of-three turned to one of her favorite brands Roland Mouret for today’s engagement, opting for a two-piece suit she wore during her Boston tour last year.

While the princess previously wore her tailored £750 blazer and £450 trousers with a pink blouse, today the mother-of-three braved the cold temps in a thin white knit.

Kate opted for an elegant blowdry and completed her ensemble with a pair of matching burgundy suede heels and minimal gold hoop earrings.

Last month, Kate formed a united front with Zara Tindall, her sister Pippa and daughter Princess Charlotte as they all wore burgundy to attend the Princess of Wales’ Christmas service at Westminster Abbey.

The concert fell on the same day that the second episode of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix special landed on the streaming platform.

In the documentary, Meghan claimed she “toned down” her wardrobe to avoid wearing the same color as the Queen or other senior royal women.

This afternoon, Rugby Football League Patron Kate will meet members of the squad and coaching staff to discuss their victory in November’s tournament, which was England’s first since the inaugural competition in 2008.

With 4,500 spectators in the arena and a television audience in the seven figures, the biggest crowd in the sport’s history watched at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.

Kate took over Prince Harry’s previous roles as patron of Rugby Football League and Rugby Football Union in February last year after he and the Duchess of Sussex stepped down as working royals.

She revealed during a visit to England’s senior men’s and women’s rugby teams in Twickenham last February that Prince George is a keen rugby player and Prince Louis “kamikaze” when he plays the sport.

Of her children’s enthusiasm for rugby, she said: “They’re all enjoying it, Louis is a kamikaze, we worry when he gets older he’ll be in the thick of it.”

Her solo outing follows a trip to a nursery in Luton yesterday, where she fooled around with children and talked about early development.

This morning, Prince William also made a solo trip to a charity for the homeless in London, where his late mother Diana had taken on engagements in the 1990s.

Despite an almighty fallout from his brother’s memoir, Prince William looked professional as ever during his visit to Depaul UK this morning following Kate’s first solo outing yesterday since the book’s release.

It was Kate’s second appearance since the backlash against the Duke of Sussex after the Iranian regime used his admission that he had killed 25 Taliban militants to justify the execution of British-Iranian national Alireza Akbari, 61.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry tweeted that Britain was “unfit to preach on human rights” after Harry’s comments.

Iran assassinated Alireza Akbari after he was accused of being an MI6 spy.

And the Duke of Sussex has now been dubbed a “silly boy” for his comments in Spare, in which he also described those he had killed as “chess pieces”.

Colonel Richard Kemp, a former British military commander in Afghanistan, said: “Harry should take full responsibility for supplying ammunition to the propaganda machine of the murderous Iranian regime.

“While all decent people will reject Iran’s lies, many of their supporters will be empowered by the ayatollahs’ exploitation of the Duke’s ill-considered comments.”
